BRING GLOVES, RAKES, GRABBERS --AND FRIENDS

SCHEDULE

FRIDAY - 9-3  -  Visitor Center is open

5:00 PM – BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING – SHADY MEADOWS DAY SHELTER

6- 9 PM- PARTICIPANTS REGISTER AND SIGN UP FOR A WORK DAY SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY.


SATURDAY

VISITOR CENTER OPENS FROM 9-3 AND 7-8

7:15 to 9:00 – Sign up for assignments and sign releases

8:00 Breakfast is served

9:00 – Brief instructional meeting and group picture

9:15-9:45 – Head out to trails assignments

Lunch On Your Own

All participants may return to Day Shelter for water, coffee, fellowship, share experiences

1:50 – Diane Foshee memorial hike sponsored by her family.   Meet at Pavilion.

2:00 – Hike Crystal Cave Trail as requested by Diane in her memory.

6:00  - Pot luck supper.   Bring your dish to Shady Meadows Day Shelter.  Turkey and Ham provided.

7- 8 – Visitor Center will open.


SUNDAY

8:00 Coffee and Worship Service at Shady Meadows

8:30 ish – Breakfast served

9:30 – Ride the hay wagon down the hay wagon “summer” route and clear limbs.   Limited to 20 people who have signed up.   No shows will be filled with others on site.

9:30 – Highway Clean Up for those who have signed up.  Meet at Headquarters. (If enough participants)

LIMITED FREE CAMPSITES AVAILABLE

CALL 830-232-6132 to be put on a reserve list for free campsite if available, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
